These are basically Gord's links (that is, my links), as this page was done by yours truly. If you have any additions or changes you'd like to see, e-mail me.

Personal Links

I was hoping to put my CV up on this site, but in retrospect, I'm not really in the market for a job now... If you are, for some weird reason, interested in my CV, please e-mail me (my address is on the main page) with a request, noting what format you'd like the document in. As I said, I'm not currently applying for any jobs at the moment, so I'd be really surprised if anybody asked for this...

I volunteer at a couple of organizations. Money and time are always appreciated. The Crisis Centre has a page, but I am unable to find one for The Food Bank. I know they're hoping to put one up...Money for hosting might be an issue though.

Fun, Hip or Interesting links Links

Need things to do? Blizzard Entertainment is a source of wonder, with titles such as Warcraft 2, and Starcraft and the Brood War expansion. (Expansion? It's a new game!!)

For an excellent Starcraft resource, try Starcraft.org . Strategy guides, scums, news and the like.

Internet multiplayer gaming is where it's at (of course, I might be biased, of course). I highly recommend Battle.net for Brood War, Starcraft and Diablo competition (although watch out for trash talking adolescent players...Lots of those...Lots of great people too...But harder to find those.)

And for those days where you've been Dilberted, or had an awful salmon day, or had a really unproductive day of blamestorming, check out the guru...

Paranoia and Subversive Links

Protect your privacy. Protect your computer. There's a lot of scary stuff out there. Even if you're not high-risk, seems prudent to know what could happen to you or your computer.

If you are concerned about your privacy on the Net, check out this site. They can detail concerns. If you are truly worried or have a real need for anonymity, they can provide a very safe way to surf.
For a tongue-in-cheek look at a number of security issues, Internet and other electronic media related, check out www.digicrime.com... They're weird.
Here are a few of other sites that detail security vulnerabilities, and how to exploit/prevent vulnerabilities, in addition to trying to answer the most important question: Why? (FYI, Cult of the Dead Cow is/are the makers of the infamous BackOrifice program -- good for Win95/98 systems, NT coming soon(?)

Useful Links

There's a lot available out there, some bits are easier to find than others. Here are some links that I find useful.

That's a start, anyway. More to be added later.
