If you know Slanty, you know who this is.
well we’ve arrived safe and sound and jet lagged.
Starting work tomorrow and spent the day today exploring our new neighborhood which is only a 20 minute walk from grace hill! our neighbourhood is great! new area of taipei and within a 5 minute walk are all the amenenities we could ask for – supermarket, 4 huge stores kinda like wallmarts and superstore, costco, furniture stores, seriously everything. our place is awsome too – top floor (8th floor) and a view of a really nice park on the river front and the mountains and taipei 101 too. Three bedrooms!, new furniture, bedding, tv, two bathrooms, it’s huge!
We’re all going for a beer now so I must be going but when i get an internet connection at home I’ll give more info.

G’day all,
Merry Christmas to you all, and hope that the festive season is going well. We’ve just had xmas in the country (folks place) and I am trying to relax and enjoy the season. Haven’t had any snakes- yet- but we’re on the look out with temperatures around 35 (I think it was 33C in our kitchen in Melbourne on Friday). So here’s a pic of some ginger bread that Kate made for the season. And no she didn’t get the cookie cutter in Oz, it was a souvenir from our trip this year!!

Eat drink and be merry!!
