The 3rd Annual Slanty III Halloween Party! Of DEATH!!!

Where : Slanty III 1036 East 21st

When : Sat October 26th; anytime after 8:00pm

What to wear : It’s a freakin’ Halloween Party! Figure something out!!!

What to bring : Whatever you want to drink. I’m hoping to get a keg, so if I can get 10 or so people to leave a comment down below that they are in on a keg, then we be getting jiggy with it!

A time many thought would never be announced, and few still thought would come to fruition is at hand. Kim and I are having a house warming… more like a house luke-warming since it’s not exactly brand spanking new. It’s also a BBQ in honour of the inaugural season of the Slanty.net ice hockey team.

This Saturday, that being the 13th of July, we, the Slanty.net hockey team, will be hosting a throwdown at Slanty III.

The above mentioned team of hockey will be throwing a keg out to the masses. We will also be sacrificing many nimble virgins to the sun Gawds in hopes that it will be a sunny evening. Here are the stats :

Who’s coming : EVERYONE from our hockey team, our fans, our fans fans, the guy who makes our hockey sticks, our neighbours dog and anybody else who wants to join in the festivities.

What to bring : Food for your dinner (meats for the BBQ and something to share potluck style), and bzzrs/beverages for the after dinner.

Hope to see you all there. SlantyK and I will promise not to leave our stinky hockey gear around the deck (especially since Wolf seems to have this ‘thing’ for pouring Aqua Velvet all over my hockey jersey in the vauge hopes of making me smell better).

We have 2 cats and some half eaten plants (some were mildly toxic to cats apparently and causes them to throw up), so if you’re allergic, bring your favorite anti-allergen.

Tonight (Sunday May 5th) it’s the first slanty.net roller hockey game. We’re playing at 6:30pm vs the Scorpions so we’re sure to not only get a beat down, but get ‘stung’ at the same time. That’s ok though, cuz we’ll dull the pain the bar afterwards…

You know the rest. Anyways, since those two are completely in the stone age when it comes to the internet (comment here edited by my wife…it’s called the ball and chain effect), they asked me to post their going away party. It is on Friday, May 3rd at Mark’s Fiasco at 7:30 pm. Be there or be square.

Introducing the first SlantyK Invitational Celebrity softball game.

Well ok I’ll be honest, anyones invited and I’m hoping someone might bring a celebrity. But I think not, unless you count a surprise appearance of Sven.

Location is the field at Tupper High School (King Edward Avenue, between Main and Fraser.
Time is Sunday April 21st at 3pm. I realize a) the Sun Run is that morning so it gives you some time to recover and b) the ‘nucks are playing at 7 so it gives some time to make it to that.

Speaking of the ‘nucks, anyone is also invited to watch the game after at SlantyIII (7ish) with a little BBBQ (BYOBB) for those hungry individuals.
