Ok, so we have a little party action to get the summer started.

Here is the deal:

Chicken. And I mean lots of it.

Beer. Only two kegs, but I am hoping the serious alcoholics will bring supplements to get them to the wee hours.

Possibly a fundraiser shooter bar. My guess is that you have to pay for the shooters.

When: Sat May 28th anytime between 2:00pm and 11:00pm.

Where: 3460 west 14th

Why: You NEED a reason?

Notes:

If you want anything else besides beer and chicken you had better bring it yourself.

Invite your friends. But no Jackasses. The jackass position has been filled by me. “There can be only one.”

Don’t expect me to travel more then 8 feet from the BBQ to say hi.

Girls/Women: Greg, my roomate, is very cute, but has no friend as he recently moved her from T.O. I call on you to search him out and give him a nice big kiss when you show up. But don’t tell him why

And when electoral politics are getting you down, retire to the THE
DEMOCRATS’ LOUNGE. Relax, listen to soothing music, drink, and dream about better, less conflicted times. Bring your favourite alcohol, pick out a comfy chair, and try to forget for awhile that the man who once said “I’m also not very analytical. You know I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about myself, about why I do things” is running the country.

It’s the kind of party that you wouldn’t want to go to more than once
every four years, so we hope to see you all there.

Yoddles! So there’s going to be a Birthday Shindig for my 31st Bday coming up. It’s going to be going down at Steamworks this Sat Jan 31st at 6pm.

Brett (Jebus from hockey) is having his 30th Bday party also that day, so it’s going to be a joint venture going on.

Come on down for 6pm for some dindin, and a little after if you’re just going to be partaking of the beverages.

Fire me off an email if you think you’re going to make it so we can get some kinda idea for numbers for a reservation!

The pre-party party at Dave and Kate’s has been cancelled. No martini for you!

So we’ll be heading out to see Lord Of the Rings : Return of the King on Sunday Dec 21st…if you haven’t seen it already and want to join the group, give me a shout. Planning on hitting the 1:30 afternoon show out at SilverCity Riverport.

Don’t forget, this friday at the Cat’s Meow (sorry Slanty women, I didn’t know about the reputation of this place when I picked it!) at 9pm it’s 3D’s 30th birthday bash. Meet in the bar section for drinking and general merriment. The only rule: you cannot feed the boy vodka! I’ll be tasting the drinks to make sure — trust me, it’s not a pretty site when he gets the root vegetable liquor in him.
