The boy sometimes uses nonsense words to describe things. And we, rightfully, correct him and tell him “that’s a made up word”.

Recently, at dinner, he was saying “merhaba”. And we told him “that’s a made up word”. And he said “no, it’s Turkish”. Well, he’s used that line on us before, saying that he was speaking Chinese, when it was pretty clear that he wasn’t.

But at dinner a few days later, he repeated the word and again said it was Turkish.

So we looked it up on Google Translate.
