WWI the second is over
This is Slanty’s third game of online diplomacy (but the second based at the turn of the century Europe, so WWI). Those of you that weren’t involved don’t know about the intrigue, the terse emails, and the Black Sea Betrayal — or you might have been forced to listen to a significant other go on about it.

Ah yes, though my home in Vienna is beautiful in the extreme, I shall enjoy relaxing in my new Tuscan villa while enjoying my own champagne in my own French Riviera. The continent is mine! Well, half of it anyways…
In truth, I’m curious to see how it pans out for the next match. It had been so long since our last one that I imagine we were all pretty much open to dealing with anyone. Now, there are those who may want revenge. My trust will certainly be tempered by the latest war.
I’m still not sure how there were two “winners”. I’d call hogwash on that…but I call hogwash on a lot of stuff and generally get ignored.
MrSodomy, when a new match is fired up, the old game is quickly forgotten as often your old enemies are too far away to matter, and your old allies are right in the way of your future progress.
…men are fickle things, past grievances are quickly forgotten, as are most things that go into a man’s head. Now women…then can only play this game once, cause they never forget how once you didn’t support naples into brest and now you’re bff is now your most hated enemy forever….
