What do you do when it’s raining in Oxford?

Go north! We spent the weekend in Yorkshire. Dave, Chris and I went for a walk and we just happened to stumble accross a pub… surprise?

Best party ever, that’s what everyone’s saying..

On one hand this cracks me up, on the other hand my god I have kids!

Kid throws a party.. cops respond to noise complaint…

“Glass bottles and other missiles were thrown at police cars and nearby houses and gardens were vandalised before at least 30 officers, a helicopter and the police dog squad arrived to try to restore calm.

An estimated A$20,000 ($18,000; £9,200) worth of damage”

Best part is this interview:

I wonder how many bogans showed up.

A new deadline for the renovation…

Hello friends,
Newsflash…
It looks like Cath and I now have a definite deadline to finish our house renovations by this upcoming July. I’ll let you guess the reason while I busily scratch out ‘den’ on the reno drawings, and replace it with ‘nursery’……….

Some photos…

I’ve been very slack at posting photos. If you knew what I had to go through to post them, you might understand. Or agree that I’m lazy. Either way, check out the photos that I’ve got posted on Dave’s flickr account. I do hope to put more up and to add “details”. But we’re working on baby steps right?

She’s got my vote

Well, Hillary won’t have my vote, but this sexy endorsement may just get more men’s poles out. I mean more men out to the poles! I mean…a crap…I lost focus again…

“Hillary,
You’ve got great skin,
Better then most women,
You can totally win!”

Bye-Bye Bill

For those that haven’t seen it yet Bill Gates’ last day of work.

Out out damn spot, out!

I had my first swim lesson at the Vancouver Aquatic Centre today. We learn to kick our feet. Oh, and breathe also. It's actually a lot harder than it looks. I've been told I should try to get my chin higher into the air before trying to breathe... I'm swallowing a lot of water. I think I should get ear plugs, nose plugs, and goggles. Basically prevent any ingress of water.
I also smell like chlorine. Everytime I sniff myself, I smell chlorine. I've already taken 2 showers. Maybe it's all the chlorine I've swallowed... the fumes are still getting into my nose or something. I definitely can't scrub anymore. The last shower and scrub left me feeling peeled.

Wisdom comes, alas, too late!

We all know that when allowing a baby some naked time, it’s essential to be prepared – a waterproof mat, blanket, handy wipes or cloths, etc. But a word from the recently wise….after that first pee, don’t let your guard down. There is always another…
