Our friends down under will be pleased to note that according to the Economist Intelligence Unit, four Australian cities are in the worlds top 10 for livability (they ranked 127 cities). Melbourne was number 2. Vancouver, however, took top spot.
Yay us!

That article looks like it was written in Oct, 2005 (which explains Paul Martin tipping the glass). So my question is how slack is 24601′s time that he’s reading back issue articles from almost 2 years ago? (I’ve got a lawn you can mow if you’re looking for work

More recently though, Canada (at 8th) is more peaceful than Australia at (25th). Ireland in 4th! Too bad I don’t actually live in Ireland…
Well, I was just in Tasmania and I think Tassie helps boost Australia, it’s Sydney that’s taking away from our chances of being #1! Can we excise Sydney? Anyone want a city with a silly looking building and a funny shaped bridge?
