Directions to SlantyODs neighbourhood
SlantyOD has pointed out that flights to Ireland are fairly cheap. But there are alternatives. For example, check out Google Maps instructions for Vancouver to Belfast See in particular, step 23.
In other news, the wife is telling her employees about her condition today. I guess that makes it official. I’ve got to start worrying about cribs, strollers, daycare and university. I’ll add it to the to-do list.
And in “unreal news” (and maybe it is unreal) here’s a photo and video from Japan that purports to show goldfish living in a layer of water inside a functioning deep fryer. Makes me think about the forty fish and end of that.

congrats! worry more about running out of diapers.
Condition? Did we know about that? I’m a bit out of touch these days so congratulations are better late than never. Great to hear, OD. So will the little tyke be…Iro-Canadian? CanadIrish?
Err, to be clear, its Blondie NOT IrishKate that’s having the baby. Baby will not have any Irish pedigree. Or at least, I hope not.
Hehehe, apparently it takes only 31 days 16 hours to get to Ireland by driving. I’ve had a lot of beer tonight….I remember some guy trading up from a paperclip to a house, I wonder if you could trade up from a swim cap to a trip to Ireland…
Let me just be clear, there are no babies on the way in Ireland. Well, not for us anyway, I can’t speak for the rest of the citizens.
Off-topic: I’ve had posts over at DaveJackson.ca that have been there for 6 days, but still haven’t appeared here. What gives? Not that it’s the end of the world or anything, just curious..
6 days? I’ll investigate. Once I get my computer back. I suspect the SlantyOD effect.
Clearly I need to pay a little more attention when reading the English language. Of course, you could start working on that OD, and make my post more valid.
