The clock has landed
For those of you that didn’t know, Bruticus and his wife (who were clock watching just a week ago) are now evenly matched by their _two_ kids.

Slow-mo
Bad things happen in slow-mo.
As you start drawing right, and the person behind you does the same, and everybody starts doing the same thing, you get that 'oh oh, this isn't a good idea' vibe. Then the boat flips over. It all happens in slow motion, and everybody can see it happening, but nobody says anything 'cause it's too late.
Our group lost 3 pairs of sunglasses yesterday from the huli'ing. 2 people managed to hang onto theirs.

Blasts from the now, blasts from the past
I’ve actually been doing work on Slanty in the last little bit, and in the process, I’ve unearthed some blasts from the past.
But first, what I’ve been working on:
- Fixed the Gallery, so now we can see Mikko and Caths Wedding pictures
- Setup a blog which SlantyOD has already been advertising Dave Jackson dot CA wherein he and an Irish lass travel, of all places, to Ireland. All the posts are cross-posted to this mainpage here nightly, but you’ll have to go there for the comments. (Actually, this hardly counts as work as I had done this for him sometime last YEAR but he lost interest…)
- Update: Dug up and fixed Slanty Wars for reasons of historical completeness.

Let’s aim for healthy
Apparently an apple strudel and a pecan square don't constitute a healthy breakfast. My coach has recommended I attempt to make a healthy lunch at home to take to work for next week.
I had thought that I was just tired from my Dallas trip, but now that I think about it, perhaps a healthier diet would help.

I have discovered a cocktail that includes Everclear that I might actually like to try.
Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (Terran version)
Sounds like a bad time waiting to happen. And when I say “bad”, I actually mean “good”. I think.
