Multiculture tolerance in the public schools
So after being raised in Canada and seeing the way various cultures eat:
Asians with chopsticks, Pakistan/Indians eating rice with their fingers, Italians eating pasta with a spoon and fork… one would think that something likeĀ thisĀ would not happen in our country, let alone a public school.

Good post. That’s pretty bad, isn’t it??
To be honest I just skimmed the article, but partly to be the devils advocate and partly knowing how reporters blowing things out of proportion, is it clear that the people at the school knew this was a cultural thing and not just poor table manners? To flip it around, if it was my kid I would be glad of the steps the teachers took.
What a crazy country you live in. Here we just persecute wierd people by sending them down a mine in Tasmania and trapping them in there for days at a time so they think they’re going to die. Then we rescue them. http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/rescue-slows-amid-safety-fears/2006/05/02/1146335717653.html
I’m not really surprised since this happened in Quebec, aka “Canada’s Anus.”
The kid should just eat with the spoon … and stab the moronic principle in the face with the fork. Idiot.
ooops, Principal.
The principal’s principle. A metaphorical stabbing! With a physical object, how post-modern.
