Shiney goodness

I purchased an XtremeMac Sportwrap for my nano the other day. Had a devil of a time finding a place in Vancouver that sells it. The Apple one didn't have very good reviews, and leaves the nano uncovered. I don't really plan on running with it in hard driving rain, but it would be nice to have some sort of water resistance! I mean, it has been known to drizzle on occasion in Vancouver.

Anyways, I finally found it at Compusmart, and it wasn't hugely overpriced! It sells for $25 bucks USD on ebay, which is only a couple bucks cheaper once you factor in the exchange rate, shipping and duties.

That’s game Hendrix

If I had known there was a World Championships of Beer Pong I would have spent more time training at Slanty I.

Woof?

So if you are doing free fall testing in your plane, would you bring a pet?  If so, would you find some sort of way to strap him in?  Well, if you did, then you wouldn’t have a funny video

When you have a good idea, it needs to be tended and nurtured. Sometimes, it will flower and bloom. Other times, even with love and attention, it still may wither away and die. Such is life.

Neglect, on the other hand, is a certain recipe for disaster.

That said, I’m happy to hear that TheBarProject lives again, run by a guy named Dave, even if it happens to not spend enough time talking about booze.

And that is why he did so well at 5 pin bowling..

For those of you that met him at SlantyK’s stag, my brother-in-law (Straw)Barry Browne is in the Indoor Lawn Bowling World Championships. He even appears to have made it through to the second round where he’s matched up against the 7th ranked player. That I believe is what they call a tough draw. I wish him luck, and I’ll be watching his next game live, which I believe is on at 11:30amPST this Wednesday.

Update: He won!!

Update 2: Here’s an article about him

ET could have used one of these babies…

It’s almost worth getting my own cell phone for one of these:

Retro

Not only would it look really funny when the cellphone was in your pocket, but now if you’re mad at someone on the phone you can slam down the receiver which is much more gratifying than just clicking shut a flip phone.

Update: I wonder if they used 2D as a consultant for this Study.

They say the first is always the best…

My first carbomb! We got routed out of downtown and everything.
