Uh yeah, what she said
Some of the Slanty’s had a high school acquaintance pass away last week. Even though I knew Aidan Oloman only as one would know somebody a couple of years younger (albeit in a small, close-knit, clannish school), hearing of her death made me feel…empty and listless.
In Googling her name I found somebody that had also known her, and expressed her regrets with the words that I’ve been having trouble finding.
Chicago Canadienne Remembers Aidan
She was no doubt living her life to the fullest. I too wish I had been lucky enough to know her as an adult.

Tag, Gordo…
It’s probably too nice of a thought that Aidan would appreciate how many folks have crossed paths again in remembering her. The Mini always was like a big semi-functional gaggle of cousins-something-removed.
Drop me a note and let me know how things are at sea-level, sometime!
