Woa!
We’ve (Australia) just had the hottest year on record. I’m always sceptical of these “on record” records but hey, we averaged 22.89°C over the year. It was also the hottest December on record, and last friday was the hottest day in Melbourne (again, on record) a nice mild 42.9°C (that’s 109.2F for those of you who aren’t up with the rest of the world).
