This Metafilter post sums up bias in the media quite nicely.
Black people loot, white people borrow. Follow the link to the MeFi article which then links the pictures/captions in question. It _does_ look like the photographs (and captions) come from different sources, but I gotta tell you, the optics are pretty awful…

This might start me going to church again. Especially if I get Friday’s off as a religious holiday. I think they’re on to something with their talk of the correlation between pirates and global warming…
WWFSMD?

Besides the obvious benefits of your children providing slave labour when they get old enough (I know Brad’s cabin is giong to be sweet once he has kids), there is stuff like this.
I mean the sheer joy of running up the stairs as you are about to send your kid into 15 years of therapy would be awsome. Then there is that little bit of additional joy you feel after recounting the story to your buddies over beer (again and again and again).
I can’t wait to be a parent. Awww heck, who am I kidding. I am not going to wait that long. I can’t wait to baby sit Ryan

$130,000 crayon drawing. Hope baby Ryan gets working soon.
If that doesn’t catch your fancy, how about getting some serious hate on for horses.

Used to be that to call something ‘extreme’, all you would have to do was add alcohol.
Extreme walking. Extreme coffee. The list goes on and on. But we’ve graduated beyond that. Been there, done that.
Somebody brought a set of extreme jenga on our most recent trip. And I’m sure you’re wondering “how could extreme could jenga be? sure, you add angles to all the blocks but come on, the game stays the same.” And you’d be right — its not that hard.
Not until you make it one-eye closed, non-dominant hand, no thumb, twin tower jenga. We’ve got just the one picture before this one came tumbling down…
(Edited: Thx to SlantyOJ for reminding me that we weren’t allowed to use our thumb either. And if you brought the tower down, you did a shot.)
