You’re nice enough and all but…
People new to Vancouver often comment on how difficult it is to meet people and make friends. Sure, you can meet “people” but making friends is much harder than it might be in other cities.
I found this article about this “Seattle social disease” strangely relevant to Vancouver.

Funny thing, this was actually a motivating factor for me having my party. Too many people in tight little groups, not mingling.

Oh, and by the way, looking at having my next big party the weekend of August 27/28. Yeah, and invite those lonely people that can’t meet anyone.
Maybe team slanty can provide a keg this time. Since two kegs didn’t seem to be enough last time (you dam drunks).
