Well, apparently, folks at the Grouse wildlife refuge have discovered the answer, as one of their resident grizzlies killed a wolf in a spat over a bone. Here’s another story with a few more details. Apparently, the wolves were “show biz” wolves (or failed show biz wolves) and may not have known the sort of danger they were in.
