Journal of Fisheries Research Board of Canada eh?
I’ve been asked to post this…
HUGE favour to ask. Miss SlantyOz in her increasingly broad field of research is looking for an article from Journal of the Fisheries Research Board of Canada. UBC has the journal and to my surprise no Australian Uni does! If someone could just jog down there on the weekend and photocopy “Measurement of formaldehyde in fish using TCA extraction and the Nash reagent” by Castell & Smith volume 30, pages 91-98 and send it to me it would confer special privileges when visiting Melbourne. Call number: SH329.2.A1 F6 1977
However, if someone has access to a PDF of this article, I think that would do.
Does anyone still attend Uni (besides me)??
Ta! (Thanks for those not up with the Oz lingo)

Hey SlantyOz, I am in Yellowknife and don’t have a valid UBC library card this year, but I was doing some research for you anyways and it seems that UBC doesn’t have the article you want. They only have volume 34. Here is the link:
http://webcat.library.ubc.ca/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v1=4&ti=1,4&Search_Arg=Journal+of+Fish&SL=None&Search_Code=TALL&PID=3755&CNT=20&SEQ=20050526182320&SID=1
Link is related to a session, please provide steps you took to perform the search?
I have emailed what I believe to be somebody I know in the Zoology department there (it would be a long-lost friend). We’ll see if I’ve got the right person and if she writes back.
I believe we have it in our library down here in Mass so if you need me to make a copy just let me know.

OK, I first tried ejournals but no such luck for that Journal. Not surprised. I then searched for the Journal in the catalogue for print storage and only could get the single volume to show up (34) as being available. I further tried call numbers and issn and came up with the same result. It appeared that only 1 volume exists out at Woodward Library.
Hi, i’m looking for the paper “Preferred, avoided, and lethal temperatures of fish during rising temperature conditions” by Cherry,D et al. If its posible, could you send me a pdf copy?
Thank you very much
