Musings of 24601
Things thought recently:
- Car mechanics must get really good at making strange noises. Recently took the car in for some service, describing a problem (“a noise… uh… I think the guys that changed my oil said it was a cracked something… uh…”) and my mechanic asked if it sounded like “clackity-clackity-clackity-clack” when I turned a corner. For anybody that’s wondering, it was a cracked axle boot.
Things done recently:
- Restored the Whatsplaying functionality on SlantyNet
- Restored the random banners on SlantyNet
- Restored the hot water functionality on the bathroom sink
Guess which one is most important? I’m now working on integrating the “Musings of 24601” blog back into SlantyNet (to see if I can). And keeping an eye on the bathroom sink.
Update: My blog is (mostly) back.

I’ve turned the hot water off on our .5 bathroom sink because of a slow leak also… too lazy to fix it yet.
