Maybe it’s just the political junkie in me, but I consider this to be kindof exciting…
Yes, I should stop driking the water here…

ok, first of all I will totally have to thank Jessica and Melissa for teaching me how to slow dance to Reggae. The “Wild Hare” was a wild placed indeed. Wild in a happy kind of way. All good. If that is all I see of Chicago, it will leave me with very good memories. And I totally invited Jessica and Melissa to make the trip to Vancouver. Of course, as per usual, I invited them to stay at your places when they come. I hope you guys don’t mind. They are both awsome people.
Then again, I am totally hammerd. I could have just invited the Olson twins to stays at Dans’ place (thus ending his current relationship) for all I know.
Dam, I just sent a bunch of drunk emails. And judging from what I remember of them, I probably shouldn’t have. They should have a breath-a-lizer thingy on these computeres. No emailing when over 0.4%. And yes I know, 0.08% is the legal drunk limit. But we here a Slanty pride ourselves on tolerance.
Except for SlantyK. Who is in a drunk free zone. Which I find funny. I am here surrounded by free booze, and he gets no beef or booze. Or get to dance to really cool Reggae music.
Man, I need to stop now.
Ciao

I almost titled this post: How I am suffering worse then Bard and SlantyK. But really, I can’t say that about working in Chicago. The flight is only six hours long. The people are fairly friendly. I can still go outside without a jacket. They serve every kind of meat (In Florida they actually serve Dolphin. Explains a lot. Fuckers.)
The only thing I can say is that the cabbies are insane. But that really isn’t that much of a complaint as I find it kind of fun. Fun as in that old rickety roller coaster at the PNE. Without the bruises on my thighs from that unpadded bar that tried to keep you in the coaster.
And best of all, I got to have dinner with Jakze. Well, I did have to promise to pay. And I also promised that I would stalk her until the end of her days if she didn’t entertain me while I was down here. But she seemed a good sport about it in the end (after a couple of beers). Oh, and I figured out where she lives, so I am going over to her place for dinner on Saturday (god bless call display). I hope that she will be home.
But yeah, just working in the windy city. Eating too much food. Listening to people rave about baseball like it was something new (woopie fucking dooo. We have NO HOCKEY HERE FOLKS)
Probably post some photos from the police station…. Jakze’s place on Saturday night if the technology gods are with me.
Ciao

Oh, and Jakze promised to come visit us in Vancouver if we get her a place other then mine to stay. So I totally offered her every one else’s place to crash. Hope you guys don’t mind.

On Feb 26th. In preparation of this self inflicted loss of freedom and a pleasant smelling apartment, I did a portrait session with slantywife showing her “delicate condition” (aka godzilla eats manhattan ;-p ). In actuality, she has been great dealing with the pregnancy and to me, still looks amazing. Although we did some silhouettes without garments, she controls the access to those and I am only allowed to show these sorts of pics:

It’s not quite as funny as the Star Wars video, but Triumph in spin alley is a very close second..
