I’m giving this recipe for Chinese Steamed Buns a shot right now, Googling for alternatives as we speak. This would be the first time I’ve ever tried my hand at anything of the sort, hope it goes well.
Biked to work with the best intentions of escaping for a few minutes to the local Farmers Market but somehow lunch hour got consumed by a database, so I guess it’ll have to be another week.
Update: An alternate recipe, along with the recipe for a BBQ pork bun. (I recommend this second recipe. It seems to have a few more of the little details filled in. Your mileage may vary.)

On a heavy trail, head full of zombie.
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous.
She took me in, and fed me breakfast”

Good time to be Bill Davidson. First his Tampa Bay Lightning win the Stanley Cup, and now his Detroit Pistons in the NBA finals. Most impressive.

Even if you don’t do photography, you’ve probably still heard of Nikon. Well, this company is a staunch maker of photographic equipment. It’s up there in ranks of Pepsi, Coke, Canon, Sony, etc in terms of company size. Certainly a big-wig. Now they are talking about leaving the film business and focussing on digital. This may not seem like much, but Nikon in the past has been one of the tightest lipped companies in regards to future plans. For them to come out and talk about this means a huge shift in thinking in their company. I suspect it’s like all business…following the money. Digital sales have been skyrocketing for several years now. The only problem is that there is now a proliferation of all those cheesy bar photos. It seems everyone has one or two or a thousand.

Poll seen on the Cinemark website:
What is the best natural disaster film?
Independence Day?

Generally speaking I’m a pretty easy going guy, but I figure in this case the best thing to do is just cut the bastard’s anchor lines.

Seriously.
Teva is interested in designing and creating just the right shoe for Tina; lightweight with a cushioned bottom and fitted sides that breathe and allow water to flow through. This design will protect the bottoms of Tina’s feet. Tina’s new shoes will permit her to navigate throughout the habitat, in the ponds, streams and mud wallows, without difficulty or pain.

It’s probably still more of a surprise to me than it will be to any of you. But both Kim and her doctor assure me that she’s pregnant, knock-ed up, heavy with child, expecting, has a bun in the oven, is eating for two, seasick on dry land, nesting, preggers, getting ripe, ready to hatch, missing aunt flo, craving pickles, shopping for strollers, poppin buttons, having puppies … you get the idea.
So, if my understanding of reproduction is correct, we just have to sit back and wait for a snow white stork to drop off a baby right around New Years.
