Where have you been?
Dammit! Why did it take retirement for Chretien to get some balls! I liked him before but now he’s on fire!
“I’ve been attacked by many people in my life it will not be the first time,” he said. “I’m a Catholic, and I’m praying. But I am the Prime Minister of Canada. When I’m Prime Minister of Canada, I’m acting as the person responsible for the nation, and the problem of my religion I deal with.”
A leader who leads, what a concept.
Now if you could just force through a complete seperation of Church and state, I’d be one happy camper…

I agree with the sentiments, but I’m curious as to how you think there isn’t a seperation of church and state. I’m not necessarily disagreeing, but I’m not sure I see the connection.
“He said that he has heard accusations from Roman Catholic leaders that he risks eternal damnation.”
as a recovering catholic, i’m surprised that phases him at all. i risk eternal damnation every day. you can’t trip over a rock without risking eternal damnation!
Surely you can say a few Hail Marys after you trip over a rock?
Well if it makes um happy i say go for it,just don’t teach my grandkids to be homo’s in school, they don’t teach sex Ed any more don’t want to see Hom Ed,yeah crazy stuff going down in the US of A.
Oh and another thing way is it so important to have that piece of paper telling others your married,i know some that have been together for 50 years and just as happy.
And if they split she still gets half of everything,so what’s the deal?
Paper Blah,.. it’s what’s in your heart that counts.
