Believe me, I hate dancing.. but maybe if this was my partner I’d give it a go…
Also, unlike most of slanty, it seems Canada is actually improving it’s finacial situation.
My god I wish it had been me.. a LEGO replica of the Stanley Cup has been stolen!

Seriously tho, BC politics kicks major ass. It’s like some kinda low budget soap opera. Just when you think things have gotten as weird as they can, something like this happens. I never thought they’d get the requisite number of signatures, and if it happens in 17 constituencies (which I doubt) .. chaos!! Who are we going to vote for next? The SoCreds again? The Greens? Like they’d stay in power more than one term. I’m hoping for a resurgence in the Rhino Party..
“If we can’t drink ’til we throw up, we don’t wanna be a part of your stinkin’ revolution!”
Update: Good to see that the US Military is ever vigilant in it’s war on terror. www.al-quaida.mil anyone?

I’m happy to say I’m alive; I survived the 30 shots; survived through the bar on the following night; and survived through the painting fumes from yesterday.
The results of this weekend are that my liver has swollen to twice it’s normal size and I have a white rather then a yellow kitchen.
That, and there were a hella lot of emails to get through once I got to work this morning. But now that I’ve waded through the backlog and have a little free time again, here’s todays SlantyWars.
Have a good Tuesday folks!
“They shot a movie once in my home town.
Every body was in it from miles around.
Out at the speedway some kinda Elvis thing.
Well I ain’t no movie star but I can get behind anything”

Hopefully I’ll be able to get this post in. Slanty.Net seems pretty flakey right now. Flakey like BC Politics. Good to see that somebody has the balls to resign around here. Not quite the Premier, but we’re getting closer.
If I knew C++ a bit better I’d enter in this competition. I reckon just my self-taught unorthodox coding style alone would get me past the first round.
And finally, good bless The Onion cause with them every article is a classic. Here’s a great point-counter-point argument…
As an aside, some Irish geek kid claims to have created a new browser that’s 600 times faster than any other browser using multiple simulateous requests to the web server. Even if the claim isn’t true as some say, I think he’s got honorary g33k status just for thinking up the idea. At 16 I was just trying to tweak my system’s memory so I could play SimCity…

WTF? American Idol the video game??!?
Almost as ‘wacky’ as some of these old patents.

Man o man, this flash thing is damn weird, but it’s one of the best things I’ve seen in ages. If you go to it, keep in mind you can click on stuff. It’s not just a movie.
Ok, no seriously, what the hell is going on with politics in the states? It’s like the democrats saw this flash ad and decided to counter with a cheap and cheesy one of their own.
This game looks like it has some potential, but you see I have work to do, so I can’t invest the mulitple hours it looks like it might need.
I’m pretty sure this has been posted before, but it’s damn funny…
Update: Ok, this doesn’t get it’s on post cause it’s taken right offa Penny Arcade, but it should have its own post cause it’s damn damn damn funny. It’s some song that’s basically just a remix of some recording of a guy playing counter strike, and apparently not doing well. There’s more info here. I made a local copy cause I’m sure it’ll get Penny Arcaded…
