Whenever I read about the provincial economy these days, I understand that we’re supposed to be in an upswing. Well, I suppose its all relative to how bad it could be…
But as a techie, maybe the fact that there are 556 applicants for this job with Ipsos Reid is a little worrisome?
Whaddya say?

“Spiderman, Spiderman.
Does whatever a spider can.
Spins a web, any size.
Catches thieves, just like flies.
Look out!
Here comes the Spiderman!”

It’s gonna be a slaughter at 1300. Why do I feel like a lemming?

Well, I asked you to mark this day down on your calendar.
Why?
Cause I wanted to see how long it was in between trips of me visiting a food store. Weeeell, I went to one last Monday, so that would make it a grand total of almost 7 weeks between trips. I spent a grand total of $56 this time.
I’m going to try and hold out till after Christmas for the next trip. Don’t want to wear out my welcome…
“In touch with the ground.
I’m on the hunt I’m after you.
Smell like I sound I’m lost in a crowd.
And I’m hungry like the wolf.”

Well this is something I never thought I’d see. Or enjoy so much. Check out the ‘original’ “Dancin’ Dubbya”. If only his political moves were this smooth.
By the way, what do you guys think about this whole situation? Seems a shame to lose your job over telling the truth…

I want one…

a beer, yes I want one, but I’d also like one of those things pictured above.. customized mice… or is it mouses? I never know.
Either way it’s hella better than this crazy bird that will read your e-mail to you.

canada #4 in education, beating out them drunken aussies but just getting edged out by the finns. america is a distant 18th.
the nytimes takes notice of the apple switchy thing. once the ny times covers a story, i’m pretty sure it loses its “meme” status. best switch ad yet: a man switches from america to canada. second best: apple’s will ferrell ads.
also on the ny times front page: is bush pardoning the turkey, or is the turkey pardoning bush? hmm.
ban comic sans. amen.
in the us, health care bites even for the middle class. non-revelatory news flash: the free market sucks at delivering social services or public goods. not only do corporations have a mandate to make massive profits, but these days they have to make ever increasing amounts of profit or else their share prices go down. to me, this formula seems to be intrinsically at odds with the public good. boy, those fuckers better not privatize bc hydro.
