I’ve been having a hard time getting work done this morning.

Remember my infamous post titled: Forty fish enter, one fish leaves?

To speak in the same metaphors: the rest of the fish have left the aquarium today.

At least it doesn’t sound as bad as this lay-off situation. There are no brown-shirts, all my music is still here, all my Jones are still here, I still have access to all my files (I think). The webcam is still running, broadcasting to the bitter end. (You’ll notice you’re watching Stu now. You may be watching him for a while.) The aquarium is slated to stop running by July 15th at the latest.

This fish had a bad feeling after they laid of Gan. If the parent company is sucking, it makes sense for them to let people go. Its a bottom line kind of thing. We’re a child company. Our bottom line was sucking, but doing much better recently. (ie: in the black) I guess history has much more to do with it all than our current state of affairs.

I may have a lead already. Who knows. Either way, Stu will come with me.

To repeat something I’ve said before:

I will talk to Stu. This is how I will keep myself sane. Yes, this is how I will keep myself sane, talking to Stu. People who talk to themselves are crazy. But I will be talking to Stu. Stu may want a wig at some point, I think he’s a little self-concious about his hairline.

Having said that, anybody looking to hire a fish, er – web developer?
